Salary: $33,280 - 37,440 per year Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in information technology and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems logically, methodically, and persistently, including researching unfamiliar issues.
- Basic familiarity with Windows computers, common desktop applications, and computer hardware.
- Ability to follow technical procedures, document work, and reliably complete assigned tasks.
- Strong customer-service skills, patience, and clear communication with nontechnical users.
- Dependability, professionalism, good judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize support requests and determine when issues need escalation.
- Attention to detail when handling accounts, permissions, devices, and clinical systems; ownership of assigned work through resolution or escalation.
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA requirements and organizational information-security policies.
- Preferred, but not required: experience, coursework, or hands-on familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, remote monitoring and management platforms, Windows desktop support, Linux administration, macOS, Apple iPads or other mobile devices, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, basic networking, hardware repair, printers and peripherals, endpoint security, healthcare IT, or electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent training are beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities: - Provide courteous, timely technical support to employees with varying levels of technical experience.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows desktop and laptop computers.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, deployment, and troubleshooting, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Help administer users and devices in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Prepare accounts, computers, and access for employee onboarding and assist with secure offboarding.
- Use NinjaOne/NinjaRMM or a similar remote monitoring and management platform to monitor, patch, maintain, and remotely support endpoints.
- Maintain and patch Linux computers deployed in clinical exam rooms, and provide basic support for macOS computers and Apple iPads.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot approved software and operating systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, printers, scanners, peripherals, and common network-connectivity issues; perform basic repairs or component replacements when appropriate.
- Assist with endpoint security, antivirus, patch management, and other cybersecurity practices.
- Document systems, devices, technical issues, resolutions, and recurring problems accurately.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and help track computers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Escalate complex or high-risk issues appropriately and coordinate with senior IT staff, vendors, or support partners as needed.
- Protect patient, employee, and organizational information; comply with HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
- Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
